Seth Godin has a new 80/20 rule.

Since 80% of the results come from 20% of the effort, most people settle for putting in the 20% effort required to get by. But what if you don’t want to just get by, what if you want to be nothing but the best? Then, you should over-commit and put in the other 80% too. The first 20% is about ‘meeting expectations’, the other 80% is about ’surpassing expectations’. The other 80% is the difference between ‘good enough’ and ‘great’.

When people tell me that I’m obsessed with X/ Y/ Z, I feel great! The other 80% is about being obsessed.
