Google and Clear Channel Sign Radio Advertising Deal

On the back of its TV ad deal with EchoStar, Google has signed a radio ad deal with Clear Channel.

Under the agreement, Google™ Audio Ads advertisers will have national distribution, enabling them to reach specific audiences, at specific times, in targeted geographies (Google Press Release).

Google’s offline AdWords agenda is in full flow now.

Google has officially announced its entry into TV ads via a partnership with DISH satellite broadcaster EchoStar (CNet via Mashable). Advertisers will use the AdWords interface to bid on spots, which will be targeted by demographic groups, regions and programs based on data from set-top boxes. Looks like Google’s offline AdWords agenda is finally off the ground.
